📄 Abstract(原文)
In this chapter, the researcher explores the possibility of the use of IoT and Internet of Things (IoT) to transform Sustainable Food Logistics and Circular Bioenergy in Tanzanian Universities. It focuses on the interconnection of food-waste management, AI-based quality monitoring, as well as logistics coordination, biogas production and carbon sustainability. The chapter conceptualizes an AI–IoT Sustainable Food Logistics Framework based on recent literature, which brings together real-time monitoring, intelligent analysis, waste collection, biomass valorisation, biogas production and energy recovery. The framework places a strong focus on how the two are to be used as tools for achieving carbon reductions, not as machines that do it for us. The chapter covers conceptually the foundations, implementation considerations, policy implications and future research directions to access smarter and more circular university food systems.
