The carbon emission,pollution ,climate change are biggest challenges for humans survival on earth. The solution to all this is sustainable development along with preparing community to deal with it is important to lower the impact of environment challenges.Green skills refer to knowledge ,abilities values and attitudes that enable individuals to support and participate in an environmentally sustainable society .Green skills are essential for addressing climate change,enhancing environmental health and building a sustainable global workforce to achieve united nations sustainable development goals. Green skills can be classified into three categoryTechnicalskills,adaptive and traversal skill each one has its own importanceo.Green skills can be developed in community through education ,awarenessprogramme, workshops at various plateforms initiated by Govt. NGO The emergence of green economy is new area of employment such as green energy, agriculture production and waste management. Development of curriculum consisting of education for sustainable developmentfor inculcating critical thinking,problem solving and ethical decision making are aligned with measurable learning outcomes enabling students to address real world sustainability challenges. It requires coordinated effort among educators, policy makers,industryleaders and researchers to integrate green skills across sectors
