English
This study proposes a Fuzzy Multi-Objective Programming model that jointly optimizes distribution cost and CO2 emissions under demand uncertainty in Indonesia's palm oil three-echelon supply chain. Tested on a real network (3 suppliers, 2 DCs, 4 retailers), it cuts cost by 12.4% and CO2 by 9.7% versus single-objective methods, with robust sensitivity across weights. It offers a practical decision-support framework for green supply chain management in agriculture.

📝 gxceed 編集解説 — Why this matters
In the global GX context
Adds to global green supply chain literature by integrating fuzzy demand uncertainty into cost–emission trade-offs, relevant to Scope 3 upstream accounting and CSRD/ISSB supply-chain disclosure. The Indonesian palm oil case highlights tropical agricultural commodity chains, a gap in much TCFD/ISSB-oriented research.

📄 Abstract(原文)
Palm oil supply chains in Indonesia face dual pressures: minimizing distribution costs while reducing carbon emissions under uncertain demand conditions. This study proposes a Fuzzy Multi-Objective Programming (FMOP) model integrating trapezoidal membership functions to simultaneously optimize total distribution cost and CO₂ emissions across a three-echelon supply chain (suppliers, distribution centers, and retailers) in Java, Indonesia. The model incorporates fuzzy demand uncertainty using Zimmermann's symmetric approach and resolves trade-offs through a parameterized -weighted compromise method. Computational experiments on a real-world palm oil distribution network with 3 suppliers, 2 distribution centers, and 4 retailers demonstrate that the FMOP approach reduces distribution cost by 12.4% and CO₂ emissions by 9.7% compared to conventional single-objective methods. The Pareto frontier analysis reveals that the optimal compromise solution at achieves an overall satisfaction degree of 0.847. Sensitivity analysis confirms the robustness of the model across varying weight coefficients. This research contributes a practical decision-support framework for green supply chain management in the Indonesian agricultural sector.
